How to find Weybridge Rowing Club

• By road : Weybridge is on the A317, 4km inside the London orbtial M25 at junction 11 (Chertsey), which is midway between Gatwick (jct8) and Heathrow (jct14). Major roads nearby are the A3(M25 jct10) and the M3 (M25 jct12). Use this link for a road atlas view (or, as an alternative, try this).

• By rail : Weybridge Railway Station is 2km away, use this link to find it. SouthWest Trains services from Waterloo are approximately every 15 minutes; or there is a less frequent service from Staines and Virginia Water. National Rail provide an on-line timetable.

The Club is on Weybridge Ait, an island next to the lock where the Wey Navigation joins the River Thames.
To reach the Club, either
a) follow the footpath from Radnor Road (off Portmore Park Road), turn left immedately after the barrier, cross the footbridge over the stream and then cross the tarmac road. Pick up the footpath directly opposite, with the green metal fence on your right side. Follow the footpath for another 200 metres to Thames Lock. The two-storey wooden Clubhouse is straight ahead of you over the little bridge.
or
b) go down Jessamy Road to the end, bear left and leave your car on the little visitors' parking area on the left side of the tarmac road. The footpath branches off from the right side of the road and runs for 200 metres to Thames Lock (as above).

Please note that parking is NOT permitted on Whittet's Ait (shown on map below as the big island with "Works" on it) EXCEPT for short-term drop-off and pick-up from the visitors' spaces opposite the new park. Please do not impede or disturb the residents of the apartments (our neighbours).
